Lucas and Lester are men whose psychology is very complex and deep. Both have a dark and uncertain past and have had to make tough decisions in their lives for their own benefit, they have not taken by selfishness but because they have been underestimated by the people around them.
Lucas is a man with a dual personality, he was even able to kill his best friend for his own benefit and save his life and then he usurped his name fooling all the MI5 British elite which he was part years later. He was found to be able to sow terror among his peers and even kidnap one of his top agents to avoid be captured. But despite all this Lucas is a sensible man, kind and willing.
Lester is an insecure, shy guy who always has been abused and undervalued for everyone, even for his wife, and for that reason he has a serious difficulty making decisions, he is not a man who wants the revenge or lives with resentment but has understood that the only thing he wants is living in peace without anyone to hurt him. So it would be wonderful if one day he and Lucas find each other, maybe Lucas never intended suicide and managed to escape from justice, and perhaps when he meets the lovely blond Lester for the first time, both fall in love each other immediately and decide to run away together to Russia, then Lester will feel really loved for the first time and Lucas will be determined to protect him even with his own life and won't let anyone kills or hurts Lester like happened with the women who died in his arms. Their love will be so hot and sweet at the same time because both can understand each other :)
